Episode 089: The Doraty Game

A game begins on Monday, April 3, 1933. A game ends on Tuesday, April 4, 1933. Would you believe me if I told you those two dates actually represent the same game? It's true. The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins were locked in a 2-2 series tie in a best-of-five games series to decide which team would advance to the Stanley Cup Final. They both easily anticipated an incredibly climactic game, but what they most certainly didn't anticipate was how long it would take to end. Join me in reliving the story of the second-longest game in NHL playoff history.
