Episode 045: Conn Smythe Trophy

Conn Smythe bought one of the only remaining two founding franchises of the National Hockey League. He changed their name to the Maple Leafs, and built them a palace they'd call home until almost the turn of the next century. For his contributions to the game of hockey, the NHL honors him with the Conn Smythe Trophy; it is awarded annually to the MVP of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
